Kristin Gerling

Kristin Gerling is a consulting professional with extensive start-up experience, both in Germany and the US. She brings with her a broad spectrum of consulting expertise and the unique capability to combine technical, functional, and strategic thinking in her consulting work. She has worked with many international clients throughout her carrer and has been able to hold successful long term relationships with companies like Holcim, Bosch, and Cadbury. Kristin is an innovative and creative thinker who thrives on meeting new challenges. After being an SAP FI/CO consultant with CSC Ploenzke AG in Germany for 3 years she formed her first independent SAP consulting company. Being a US citizen, she decided to move to the US in 2002, where she formed Active Business Consulting LLC together with a German business partner. She managed ABC Consulting as a principal and managing partner for 1.5 years before she started with IXOS/OpenText. After working with many US clients, implementing ECM solutions, she formed Gerling Business Consulting LLC, which now has been successfully in business for 6 years. As a principal at Gerling Business Consulting, she offers SAP FI/CO consulting, ECM consulting, and project management to SAP clients in the US and around the world. Her start-up experience in two continents and her strong technical expertise builds the foundation for her latest endeavor, which is helping European companies getting started the US SAP market.
